3Deus Light V2: Our Industrial 3D Printer for Silicone Parts with Complex Geometries

The 3Deus Light V2 industrial 3D printer is the latest innovation to emerge from the ongoing partnership between 3Deus Dynamics and ATG Technologies.

The Creation of the 3Deus Light: An Industrial 3D Printer

The partnership began in 2022 with the creation of the 3Deus Light, the first industrial 3D printing machine designed to bring the patented Dynamic Molding process into production.

This initial machine was custom-built to accommodate the containers holding the powder, stabilizing the liquid silicone as it cools during printing. At the time, our production specialists could print up to four small pieces, two medium-sized pieces, or one large piece, one at a time, in a single run.

While the powder was already added automatically, the storage container required manual refilling after a few prints to ensure the pieces were fully covered. Similarly, the silicone cartridges had to be replaced regularly, limiting the machine’s autonomy.

Advancing with the 3Deus Light V2: Greater Autonomy and Productivity

Building on the success of this initial partnership, the second machine, the 3Deus Light V2, takes production using our patented technology to the next level. The main innovation lies in its greatly enhanced autonomy—it is ten times more self-sufficient than its predecessor. With advanced material feeding systems for both powder and silicone, it can now operate uninterrupted, even during overnight production.

The 3Deus Light V2 also features the ability to print two pieces simultaneously, side by side. While this option still relies on silicone cartridges, it has significantly boosted productivity for small series production and reduced production costs.

Dynamic Molding: Solving Complex Manufacturing Challenges

Unlike existing manufacturing methods our innovative Dynamic Molding process uses a granular medium with a zero gravity effect, which allows us to produce intricate, customized parts with exceptional precision without geometrical limits. This enables us to tackle complex challenges that other techniques cannot solve, delivering tailored solutions for even the most demanding industries and applications.
